Our story

Born on a family vacation. Built for everyone.

Erin and Ben started PuzzlerExchange because they loved doing puzzles on family vacations. It was never just about the puzzle — it was about the people around the table. Cousins collaborating, grandparents and grandkids working side by side, everyone contributing a piece. Puzzles have a rare gift: they bring people together and keep them there, talking, laughing, and connecting in ways that screens simply can't.

But when the vacation ended, the puzzle always ended up in a closet — or worse, the trash. Buying a new one felt wasteful. And they knew that somewhere out there, another family was doing exactly the same thing.

Erin and Ben are also firm believers in taking care of the planet. A puzzle shared is so much better than buying a new one and throwing the last one out. Every exchange on PuzzlerExchange keeps a puzzle in circulation, out of the landfill and on its way to bring joy to another family.

A puzzle shared is so much better than buying another one and sending the last one to the landfill. We wanted to build something that honored the joy of the puzzle — and then passed that joy on to the next family.

Questions

Everything you were afraid to ask

Do I have to swap directly with someone?

Nope! That's the whole point of our credit system. You send your puzzle to anyone who wants it, earn a credit, and spend it on any puzzle in the catalog — no timing required.

Who pays for shipping?

The sender pays their own shipping — typically $8–12 via USPS Ground Advantage. We generate the label for you right inside the platform so there's no guessing.

🏆 Can I keep the puzzle if I like it?

Absolutely — if you want to trophy it, you're welcome to! Just keep the community balanced by either adding a new puzzle to the exchange or purchasing an additional credit.

What if a puzzle arrives with missing pieces?

Every listing requires an honest disclosure of completeness. Members who misrepresent their puzzles can be reported and removed. We take the community's trust seriously.

How many puzzles can I list?

Up to 3 active listings at a time. Once a puzzle ships and is confirmed delivered, that slot opens up again for a new listing.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, anytime. Your access continues until the end of your paid year.

What puzzle brands are available?

Whatever our members list! Ravensburger, Buffalo Games, White Mountain, Cobble Hill — and everything in between. The catalog grows as the community grows.
